We are pleased to announce that Dark Star Records artists Conquest, Two Ton Anvil, Low Twelve and Bloody Mary have been confirmed for Indianapolis Metal Fest 2013. The two day US metal festival will take place in the Circle City on September 20th and 21st, 2013. The event will feature more than 50 bands playing on three different stages, including one all-ages stage. According to festival founder, Rob Mason, the festival will consist of top underground metal bands with some well respected headliners playing each night. The price of the tickets will be fairly low as well as the price of food and drinks but yet promises to deliver the finest in underground metal. While Indianapolis Metal Fest is supported, in part, by corporate sponsors, those relationships have never dictated the event’s underground sensibilities. Says Mason, “Metal is as much a lifestyle as it is a style of music, and Indianapolis Metal Fest is about more than just the music. It’s also about fellowshipping with like-minded individuals – like a family reunion for Metal Heads.” Dark Star Records was a sponsor for the last Indianapolis Metal Fest and this year Jeffrey A Swanson and Lloyd Freeze have selected four of the labels finest artists: Conquest, Two Ton Anvil, Low Twelve and the All Girl Teenage Metal Band Bloody Mary.
Indianapolis Metal Fest 3 is sponsored by Sam Ash Music, Roaring Lion Energy Drink, Halo Custom Guitars, Dark Star Records, In-tune Custom Guitar Picks, and Abercrombie Ink.

Since the band was first formed in 2007, Slam Bang have shared the stage with a number of great bands including: LA Guns, Y&T, Jackyl, Stephen Pearcy of Ratt, Faster Pussycat and Others. The band was best known for their simple hard rock party songs like Naked and Stoned and Hit It. Russ had left the band on good terms to go tour with Veilside, and had offered Slam Bang a replacement, good friend and ex Raine guitarist Frank Lenner AKA Frankee Lee. According to Mrs. Tamera Rayne an SGL Entertainment spokesperson, Director Damien Dante and Co-Producer Jeffrey A Swanson, partners and creators of the vampire movie franchise “Jezebeth” were unavailable for comment after it was discovered that a never before released trailer featuring Bree Michaels and containing scenes of “Nudity” from the feature film Jezebeth (2011) R Squared Films, surfaced on the web site Vimeo. Mrs. Rayne would only say that an internal investigation is under way headed by Dante and Swanson. An unidentified source indicated that Mr. Dante had recently fired a disgruntled production crew member on the Set of Jezebeth 2 Hour of the Gun, and may have been the source of the leak.

Filmmakers Damien Dante and Jeffrey A Swanson, the creators and producers of the Jezebeth Film Franchise have assembled their dream production team. With the success of their first full length cult classic vampire horror film Jezebeth, and a second film Jezebeth 2 Hour of the Gun in post production, the two business entrepreneurs began searching for their film editor. After a long search and with the help of some industry friends, the filmmakers signed on David OBrient Jr. from Texas. David is best known for editing: Lady Girl, Bad Sister, The Back Up, Jump Out, Junie’s Leverage, Chiaroscuro and others. Film Director Damien Dante has been working very close with David and his company C & G Productions, and the film edit is really coming together. Then just by fate, Damien and Jeffrey had meet William Shary on the set of Jezebeth 2, it was the final shoot, the vampire bar scene, and William was one of the extras. William had been a facebook friend for quite a while and mentioned that he and his partner Scott Caputo had a pro recording studio called Studio 32. After researching dozens of Chicago based studios we decided to have a meeting with William and Scott. Studio 32 was just what we were looking for., with a full size drop down projection screen, sound rooms and a large selection of sound effects. Also, William Shary is a seasoned drummer, while Scott Caputo is a keyboard player and an orchestrator, both are music producers and both have officially signed on to the team.

With the movie Jezebeth 2 Hour of the Gun more than half edited, it won’t be long before we begin our ADR, Score, Sound Effects and Foley. And, as always the movie Jezebeth 2 will be loaded with great music from the Dark Star Records music label. With Damien Dante as Director, Writer, Producer and Jeffrey A Swanson as Cinematographer, Music Supervisor and Co Producer along with David OBrient Jr., the Editor, plus William Shary and Scott Caputo on Sound Production, it looks as though we now have our Dream Team. Look for Jezebeth 2 Hour of the Gun in the Fall of 2013 and Jezebeth 3 Hell’s Desperatos in 2014.
