Guitarist DD Rand and Lead Vocalist Kyle Michaels from the 80s Hard Rock/Metal band Ravage out of Chicago have come together to release their new single “Rails of Steel”. This amazing rock ballad mixes layers of acoustic guitars and then it slams into the wall of sound followed by an epic guitar solo. But, what really takes this song “Rails of Steel” to the next level is the incredible vocals of Kyle Michaels. Kyle Michaels has performed with the Geezer Butler Band who was the legendary bass player for (Black Sabbath) and also, Guitar Virtuoso Masi (Lion Music), Plus of course the 80’s metal sensation Ravage (Shrapnel Records / Dark Star Records). DD Rand and Kyle Michaels prove once again that they have what it takes to make a rock ballad of epic proportions. Dark Star Records recording artist Blackfinger release their first new single “All The Leaves Are Brown”.
Blackfinger features Eric Wagner, the former vocalist of Chicago’s doom metal band TROUBLE. Trouble formed in 1979 and released numerous widely acclaimed albums such as: Trouble, Manic Frustration and Plastic Green Head. Wagner was also a featured vocalist on Dave Grohl’s heavy metal side project PROBOT, released in 2004 which featured heavy metal vocalists from the 80‘s and 90‘s. The new single “All The Leaves Are Brown” was Produced by Vincent Wojno who worked with “Testament” on The Formation of Damnation Album. The single is just a taste of what’s coming in 2012. All the tracks have been recorded and Producer Vincent Wojno has now begun mixing the new full length album for Blackfinger. Eric Wagner is back with a Vengeance. Eric Wagner also makes a cameo appearance in the full length horror film Jezebeth coming out on Blu-Ray in early 2012. We all know the story; We’ve seen the movies. You may think it’s impossible to have a new approach to Frankenstein. Think again. On a foggy winter morning, a priest is sent by raft to an isolated island. He will be performing a wedding ceremony under very mysterious conditions.

Victor is the only one who knows the truth about their enemy. His secret will cost him the lives of each of his men, as the creature gets closer to his target: the bride.
The World Premiere of Frankenstein: Day of the Beast will take place at The Portage Theater, located at 4050 N. Milwaukee in Chicago on Sunday, November 27th at 3pm.
“We stayed within the plot to honor Mary Shelley’s legendary original, but we added our own twist to the storyline. It’s a brand new ride on an old name you know well,” said Ricardo Islas, director and producer. “It’s an action packed, old-style Hammer type of movie, completely filmed in Chicago and showcasing outstanding Chicago actors Adam Stephenson, Michelle Shields and Tim Krueger. Lead Actresses Heather Beeman and Madeline Maser along with several members of the cast from the JEZEBETH motion picture and TV Series make a special appearance at Shark City in Glendale Heights Illinois. This star studded event included performances by The Texas Hippie Coalition plus Dark Star Records Artists Sacred Dawn and True Witness. Other highlights of the evening included a media photo shoot with The Girls of Jezebeth, Baby D Frost’s Birthday Bash and an appearance by Director Damien Dante. Also attending were executive producers Jeffrey A Swanson and Lloyd Freeze.
