The Horror Vampire Film “Jezebeth” Lands a Six Figure Deal With The Phoenix Group

SGL Entertainment and Satania 6 Films in association with Dark Star Records have signed a six figure multi picture movie deal with The Phoenix Group. This worldwide deal includes foreign and domestic rights to Jezebeth, Jezebeth II, Jezebeth III, the Jezebeth cable series pilot and more. The Phoenix Group who also represent the films: Boggy Creek, Renfield and Abduction have offices in Palm Desert California, Boca Raton Florida and Atlanta Georgia. Jezebeth the Motion Picture was written, directed and produced by Damien Dante along with Executive producers Jeffrey A Swanson and Lloyd Freeze. The film stars Bree Michaels as Jezebeth. Bud Schaffer the CEO from the Phoenix group told the two franchise partners Damien and Jeffrey that he was very impressed with the teaser trailers, name, logo, graphics, media and press that he had seen. And, also that the promo video “The Girls of Jezebeth Storm Hot Topic” was proof that Jezebeth had it all. The Phoenix Group will be taking Jezebeth to MIPTV in Cannes, France from April 4-7, 2011 and this is only the beginning. With two more motion pictures and a television show in the works, Jezebeth stands ready to devastate anything in her path…

DD Rand Signs With Dark Star Records

We are pleased to announce that DD Rand, original lead guitarist from the 80s Hard Rock/Metal band Ravage out of Chicago has inked a deal with Dark Star Records. DD Rand’s guitar style mixes bone crunching guitar rifts with screaming leads. His songs are loaded with catchy choruses influenced by classic 80’s rock but with a modern high caliber production level. DD Rand currently has deals with Shrapnel and Retrospect Records. And now with his latest digital release “venom in Denim” out on Dark Star Records, DD Rand will once again take the world by storm.

Conquest Unleash Their Full Length Album “Rage” Originally Released in Europe On Sony BMG

We are excited to announce that Conquest have re-released their original full length album “Rage” Worldwide via Dark Star Records. The album was originally released in Europe on November 2nd 1998. This album shows the darkest side of Conquest and is a true gem for all true metal fans. This album is now available as a special digital only re-release and can be found anywhere digital music is sold including: iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon, Zune and More. The band “Conquest” gained strong momentum with the release of their label debut album “End Of Days”, which garnered rave reviews from metal critics across the board.The band is currently working on their next full length album entitled “Against All Odds”. The band is working once again with engineer Adam Long, and the album will be produced by Derrick Brumley. Their latest release “Against All Odds” will feature new bass player Joey Saturn and will be available worldwide in the Spring/Summer 2011 via Dark Star Records. Ari Lehman “The First Jason” From Friday The 13th Signs With Dark Star Records

We are pleased to announce that horror icon “Ari Lehman” and his band “First Jason” have signed with Dark Star Records. Ari Lehman is the actor/singer who had the unique honor of having played the role of the First Jason Voorhees in the Paramount Classic Horror Film “Friday the 13th” (1980). The original “Boy In The Lake” himself, Ari played a crucial role in the film’s famous final scene, in which he suddenly emerges from the icy waters of Crystal Lake. Working with Special Effects Master Tom Savini at an early age gave Ari a deep appreciation for the Horror Greats including Lon Chaney, Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff and Vincent Price. Since his shocking debut in Friday The 13th, Ari Lehman has been quite busy with his Horror Rock Band “FIRSTJASON” who have performed at HORRORHOUND WEEKEND, FANGORIA WEEKEND OF HORRORS, ROCK AND SHOCK, TEXAS FEAR FEST, and FLASHBACK WEEKEND Horror Conventions, as well as THE MILWAUKEE METAL MASSACRE and many of the top Punk/Metal venues throughout the MidWest. ARI LEHMAN has appeared in E!, Entertainment Weekly, Blender Magazine, Chicago Reader, The Chicago-Sun Times, Illinois Entertainer, Denver CBS4-TV News, and Fangoria Radio. He has also appeared at Horror events in Germany, Holland and the United Kingdom. And now “First Jason” is about to unleash their Self Titled Album “Worldwide” through Dark Star Records and their digital partners IODA / Sony Music.

Jezebeth Movie To Feature Song From Original Scorpions Drummer Herman Rarebell

The vampire horror film “Jezebeth” is in its final stages of production and will now feature the song “Your Love Is Hurting” by platinum recording artist Herman Rarebell. “This movie is loaded with great music but this really adds a whole new dimension to the film” quotes Jeffrey A Swanson one of the executive producers and the music supervisor for the film. “I am honored to have the original drummer for the Scorpions Herman Ze German Rarebell included in our movie and on the soundtrack” replies Damien Dante Director, writer and producer of the film Jezebeth. Herman penned the lyrics for some of the most classic songs of the Scorpions entire history, including Rock You Like a Hurricane, Make It Real, Dynamite, Blackout, Arizona, Bad Boys Running Wild, Don’t Stop At the Top and Tease Me Please Me among countless others. “Your Love Is Hurting” could very well be another platinum song for Herman Rarebell but for us it was just the perfect song for a particular scene in the movie Jezebeth, and for that we are very elated. The movie will be available worldwide in 2011 and stars Bree Michaels as Jezebeth.
