Dark Star Records is pleased to announce that Bass Player Extraordinaire “Rev Jones” has just released his new album “In The Key of Z” Worldwide on CD and Digital.

Guest Artists include Uros Raskovski (Steelheart), Ira Black (Metal Church, Lizzy Borden), Jack Frost (Savatage), Russ Parish (Steel Panther), Bill Leverty (Firehouse), Jim Suhler (Monkey Beat), Robby Lochner (Fight, Jack Russell’s Great White), Rowan Robertson (Dio, Bang Tango), Paige Harwell (Reckless) and Scott McClellan (Tony Martin), as well Michael T. Ross (Lita Ford, Hardline) on keyboards and Jeff Martin (Dokken, Racer X) on drums.

  6. saar65 – Normal Illinois – About: Scott wanted to define his playing with Dean guitars, currently Scott is writing with Brotherhood of Spine on there 3rd CD and the goal is to make it there most powerful CD yet, also Scott plays in Cemeterygatez Americas #1 Pantera tribute band showing respect to Dimebag since he is so heavily influenced by him, to boot Scott is also writing on his own on a solo project called Scott McClellan's Dreamography and will have other known players involved in the writing process . Influences: Randy Roads , Zakk Wild , Dimebag , Devin Townsend , and to many to name. Brotherhood of Spine Bio: Emerging in 1997 after years of playing throughout the Midwest in various cover bands the band Spine was formed. Through the years 1997 - 2000 Spine was a band that enjoyed dual identities as one of the premier original metal acts in the Chicago land area and the Midwest's top Pantera tribute act. During that time Spine shared stages with such up and coming artists as Mudvayne, V Shaped Mind,Loudmouth, and Rebels Without Applause, just to name a few. Spine released a 7 song Cd in 1998 which received rave reviews in Midwest Beat Magazine, The Illinois Times, as well as radio airplay throughout the Midwest and Europe. The Band took a hiatus after 2000 due to changing bassist's and geographical changes for 2 of the band members. In 2002 Spine reunited with Kelce Arrington filling the bass position. Since reforming the band has recorded a 5 song demo disc and is at work on it's first full lsength disc. Brotherhood of Spine's sound has been described as Heavy grove metal, groove core and hard core. Whether you call it Old School, Groove Core, or simply Metal, look for Brotherhood of Spine to be tearing it up in a city near you soon.
