Dark Star Records is pleased to announce that we have just signed Scott McClellan to the Label

Scott McClellan has been a key player in many successful bands and writing projects including: Cemeterygatez “America’s Number One Pantera Tribute Band”, Along with Devil Land, Army of Souls, Brotherhood of Spine, Brain Chiggers, Outlind, His solo project Dreamography, and more. Scott has also had the honor of working with front man Tony Martin Formerly of Black Sabbath on his solo Album which is an up and coming release.

Brotherhood of Spine Bio: Emerging in 1997 after years of playing throughout the Midwest in various cover bands the band Spine was formed. Through the years 1997 - 2000 Spine was a band that enjoyed dual identities as one of the premier original metal acts in the Chicago land area and the Midwest's top Pantera tribute act. During that time Spine shared stages with such up and coming artists as Mudvayne, V Shaped Mind,Loudmouth, and Rebels Without Applause, just to name a few. Spine released a 7 song Cd in 1998 which received rave reviews in Midwest Beat Magazine, The Illinois Times, as well as radio airplay throughout the Midwest and Europe. The Band took a hiatus after 2000 due to changing bassist's and geographical changes for 2 of the band members. In 2002 Spine reunited with Kelce Arrington filling the bass position. Since reforming the band has recorded a 5 song demo disc and is at work on it's first full lsength disc. Brotherhood of Spine's sound has been described as Heavy grove metal, groove core and hard core. Whether you call it Old School, Groove Core, or simply Metal, look for Brotherhood of Spine to be tearing it up in a city near you soon.
